Grange Cup Swindle Rules

Section 1: General Rules

1. Draw for weekend rounds to be done the night before.

2. Players will receive a penalty for arriving late to any agreed tee time.

3. No Gimmes in any Grange Cup counting round or Majors.

4. Count back procedure to be implemented in the event of a tie in any Major or Grange Cup rounds.

5. Captain to be appointed each year to make exec decisions (2025 - Martin Bryan).

6. The last counting round of year will be a Christmas Major.

Section 2: Birthday Major Rules

1. All players must submit a card during the Birthday Major.

2. Birthday Major winners will receive 2 x extra bonus points towards the Grange Cup.

3. The Birthday Major host dictates the round type and rules (Stabelford or medal etc.).

4. All players must stay for a drink after the round. Birthday Major host decides on penalties for not staying.

5. £10 per player in Birthday Majors (winner takes all).

6. All Birthday Major trophies must be legitimate and provided by the host of the Birthday Major.  

Section 3: Grange Cup Rules

1. A minimum of 10 cards must be entered per year (at Brickendon Grange) in order to qualify for the Grange Cup.

2. Rounds on temporary greens DO count towards the Grange Cup.

3. Grange Cup points only count on weekend rounds, including Bank Holidays. (Maximum of 1 counting round per week).

4. Grange Cup season is from 1st January - 20th December.
